He’s been in the trenches since 1996

Jason Parr didn’t arrive at sales tax from the outside — he grew up inside Peisner Johnson, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected SALT consulting firms, starting as a staff assistant in 1996 and ultimately becoming its President and CEO. When Peisner Johnson was acquired by Amplēo and rebranded as The Sales Tax People in 2025, Jason led that transformation.

Today, Jason and his team of real accountants and consultants exclusively focus on sales tax — not as an afterthought, but as their entire world. That laser focus means their clients get a depth of expertise that general accounting firms simply can’t match.
